The vineyards at Espiers have been owned by the family since 1879, but it wasn’t until 1989 that the young Philippe Cartoux founded Domaine des Espiers. In 2011, he has converted the vineyard to organic methods as well as reducing yields dramatically.
Today the domain covers 9.5 ha including 3 ha of Gigondas, 2.5 ha of Sablet and 4 ha of Côtes du Rhône.
